Oh, and I'll try and get the URL today so that I can post it.

I wanted to look at these, but I was standing next to Oliver who was telling me that meat is STILL murder...
-
• #4
Don't ever ask Oliver what he thinks about wearing wool...

I'll be sure to have a look at that........I'm leaving in about half an hour from foggy Herts......
I very excited!

I was impressed by their product too and bought a red short sleeve with white stripes.
Their website is http://torm.cc/

The jerseys look great, very nice for £40! Velocio, is he planning to expand into more than just jerseys? Rapha quality bibs at £60 or something would be amazing
-
• #8
I think I'm going to get a nice long sleeve from them, quality looks superb for the price.

Forum group buy price?
-
• #10
Do they do any women-specific stuff? I could really use a decent LS jersey at the moment.

Forum group buy price?
...or cheeky discount code?? ;) -
• #12
those long sleeved jerseys look nice. I need something nice and bright for those dark winter nights
-
• #13
Eggpie has just checked them out and is of the opinion that they're ace.
-
• #14
do you really need a discount? looks cheap enough as it is so margins must be tight and it's a one man operation.
-
• #15
I don't think a discount is required, the price is excellent compared to all the others out there
-
• #16
Right well I ordered a long sleeve jersey in red... exactly what I needed. Will let the forum know what I think once it arrives etc...
-
• #17
Kirth, what size did you get? - bring it to Souths when you get it, I want to inspect - as I'm after a red long sleeve as well

How much are Rapha base layers? Torm are £25. Does that sound reasonable base layer experts?
I'm after some new ones but haven't had time to look around. -

The attempt to imitate the Rapha photography style is a bit of a fail but the jerseys look awesome for the price. Definitely going to order one.

Thanks andyp
£45 is more than I pay for jerseys though (a lot more than free jerseys). Hmm.. now I'm torm between them.
boom boom

get the rapha ones. good value. they are thin fabric (which i like) if you want something thicker look at the icebreaker ones.
-
• #23
If it helps, I've a Rapha baselayer I've been using on a daily basis for 30 months now, it's still got some life left in it.
-
• #24
is the only difference between the T5 and T6 jerseys the colour style? can't seem to find anything that says there is a difference in thickness or warmth...

The torm ones are the same materials, same factory, much the same design. Why pay more for rapha? We've been moaning about price for years and this guy has solved it. Just buy the torm.
So whilst at the Cycle Show yesterday, roxy came over and said that there was someone who wanted to meet me and perhaps to give me a free shirt.
It turns out that a single guy has set up a cycle clothing company using the same Sportwool material as Rapha, and similar (but not identical) styling. So naturally I said yes to the freebie (who wouldn't?).
Took a closer look once I got home, and it really is special.
I haven't yet found their website address to share this with you, but they suggested that they would do merino based Sportwool tops in the region of £45 rather than the £125 Rapha charge for their classic jersey which is the most similar product from Rapha.
Anyone coming down to the Cycle Show can find them at the back of the shopping area.
Do check them out, what this one guy has achieved really is quite something, and with good product at a bloody good price we really have little reason not to support him.
