Any question answered...

Whats the best way to remove badges that look like theyve either been soldered on or screwed on and had the heads of the screws cut off?
Reason for asking is i need to remove a badge for a respray.

The last time I saw that done, someone did a rubbing of the badge on paper with crayon and then glued the rubbing to duct tape, cut out an exact outline and popped the tape over the badge before respraying, peeled the tape and washed with spirit, job done.

I'll conceed that it was a badge on a trophy cup but it worked damn well. Might save playing with rivets and solder.
