I'm with Skully on this, and frankly I'm ashamed of the yoof here that they don't know how to slip the barriers anyway if they really, really, needed to. You don't even have to get 'too' close to the person in front and you certainly don't need pieces of paper. Perhaps that's the point though, the fact you don't know how to is based on the fact you've never genuinely not been able to afford a ticket but have desperately needed to get across town for an interview or something else potentially life-changing for example.
Bit like students who squat but can afford to pay rent.
