    I didn't actually buy it off that forum, I only got it a few weeks ago. I put out a 'wanted' message (on here, amongst other places) and he replied; that is the exact 'titanium' BB that I purchased; still magnetic though :(

    However, I've since learned that titanium axles are more prone to failure.

    You state that "the weight sounds about right if this post is to be believed"; hence the uncertainty; but why is it magnetic ?

    I'm unsure as to whether I should contact the seller.
