I've never got a fine before.. not sure how you manage to actually get caught.

Who gave you the fine? I understand they can only be given out by an offical revenue protection officer - which is a bit like a transport SCO

I meant at a train station when you used you to be able to get on the train without a ticket. Then they suddenly stopped allowing you to buy tickets at the main stations, and gave you a fine. £30 there and then. Shitcunts. I would assume they're official since it's their sole job.
