IS this argos frame not a bit cheap?
Sort of, but not really.
I sold a really nice mint alu/carbon frame with columbus carbon forks for £150... and even then it was fucking hard to shift.
Market forces.

Pity that the drive side rear dropout has been filed down...

Both LH and RH.
That's no problem at all, especially if you will ride it geared.
If you'll fix it (why do that to a 753 fgs), it decreases the space you can move the wheel to get the chain tension well.
It must have been built so tight (short chain stays) that a normal wheel change was not possible. -

He did well on that machine..it was on the Bay two weeks ago..with a BIN of £200.00..I kept looking at it and thinking..damn that's cheap..but do I need another machine that i can't ride (due to it's small size).
It came with a spare set of wheels..he got £98.00 for just those!..plus he has all the oother parts off it..Titanium BB etc...it's other nice wheels.

Forum manners please, if you buy at a bargain, you flog it off subsequently at a bargain, or at most a smal margin to cover the travelling or postage cost. Just like if it is free, you dont flog it off, you offer it up for free cycle again ;)

It's different, he is a trader, he drives all around to bike jumble, buys them, clean/diassemble them then sell. Also, he keeps his transaction above the table, no shaddy dealings and he even announces the next bike jumble on his threads, so if you wanna give it a pop, you can always try to make it there and get a bargain yourself! So I dont see how you could draw comparison of jonnyboy's conduct to hilary.
