Lights

This is what worries me. I currently use two 10w halogens, I have two Li-ion batterys mounted which can run each light individually, or both with a tiny extension I carry. If I had both lights fail. I could'nt simply get home from most of the places I cycle, so I carry extra parts. I'd rather spend out and feel safe TBH.

I know what you mean - I carry basic spare lights of the led variety to get home. Problem is, battery failure etc is a function of the technology. Most of the parts are out of the same factory etc, it really doesn't get a lot better from make to make, once basic benchmarks are passed. One thing about DX is that there are a lot of techno geeks on there who know what's what in terms of parts and build.
