Cinelli seatpost? as in classic?
No, I just want italian bits on it.
edited- remembered the groupset is campag not shimano -
• #35208
Beware of the clamp size though, limited your choice of handlebar a bit if you were to change the cinelli stem or bar for something else.
You can check out Condor's own, or those Nitto noodle/randonneur/road bar.

My atrocious bicycle. Clearly far too small for me but it's a fun workhorse. 49cm Steamroller.
When I find some part-time employment: H+Sons and bullhorns. Plus a bigger frame haha.
Oh and anyone who would be interested in swapping a 54-58cm F+F and trying something smaller holla at me.
-
• #35211
Sheesh, you take a 58cm and you're riding a 49?
You'll need H + Sons on one of these soon:

At 5" 10 it's a push but at 18 years young I like to think I can get away with it. Don't have the cash monies for something bigger and it's my only way to make the 7 mile trip to and from college. Student life brah!

my current lo pro build
wheels and cranks will be replaced
You should probably be on the lookout for a frame that fits you while you're at it
-
• #35217
? why?
-
• #35218
Well it might be the camera angle but your seat looks awfully low, making it look like the bike is too big for you.
-
• #35219
i need to adjust the seatpost, its not fit for riding yet.

Ah thats very cool, I've got an 853 Rourke track frame. I'll try and get some pics up later, would be interested to know if you built it!
-
• #35221
? why?
Because if you hadn't you may find that there's a lot of people on here that want to come round to your house and turn on the hot tap in the kitchen while you're having a shower, if you follow.

wow, what a pleasure! I saw you and Brian on that bbc show about building the perfect bike. lovely work!

Slow but steady progress. Started doing the epoxi and carbon fibre coating on my Obree bike.
Se the whole thread at http://www.fixedgear.se/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6007
Sorry it's all in Viking language.Well, back to the workshop...
dude this is amazing, can i ask though, how will you get the wood base frame out once you've covered the whole lot in carbon and cured the epoxy ?
-
• #35224
He won't, it's balsa wood.
-
• #35225
I see, so the balsa wood is a part of the frame, but won't that make it extremely heavy, given the large chunks of it used and therefore negating the benefit of using carbon in the first place ? Pointless no ?
Please tell me, this isn't the way some carbon frames are made, such as Look and Trek, surely not, im pretty sure i saw they used a press to shape their tubes.
