well...you need to add all Banks to bad traders too- you have no protection if you do a Bank Transfer- other than go to the Crime Desk and Mr Plod.
I did a Bank Transfer with Slim4130, and ended up with a nice Mr Plod, who did get in touch with Slim and obtained a result for me.
I had been previously told by my Bank that I was covered in a transfer- sadly untrue. I nearly did a Bank transfer for a very nice Range Rover @ £X k's, but son put me off as he thought it was fishy. He was right, the Co and its web site has disappeared without trace. (I did report to a car reg checking web site and they took action as did Auto Trader too).
So to me, I think paying the Pay Pal fee is peanuts in comparison to losing perhaps lots of the lovely stuff. At least with PP you pay for what you get WYSIWYG- now there's a novelty for a business!
