Very nice looking plain celeste green steel framed fixed, black bullhorns and black deep rims, going down HPA and on to the roundabout (where I got caught by the lights). Lined lugs (I think) and Reynolds decal on the forks. Really tidy bike.

Max, I think, at LMNH about 6.30 this eve and on the off chance does anyone know whether the wheels that are hanging up there are for sale? Meant to ask while I was in there but forgot
-
• #30136
Hello. Who are you? Did we speak?
Which wheels? I inquired about the debadged Zipps, not sure if they are or not.

Spotted a bunch of jackasses on the way home.
To the chap on Old street on the geared yellow bike with the red sleeveless shirt, black shorts and helmet and pointy little sideburns: I went off on you because you cut from the left side of the lane all the way over to the right, nearly clipping me and sending us into oncoming traffic. Don't whine at me for doing so, instead get the headphones out of your ears, head out of your ass and look around.
Then had 3 separate vehicles inexplicably try to drive over/through me on the rest of my ride. Worst commute ever.
I'm taking this invisibility cloak back. It sucks.

My wheels were parked outside, green frame with orange wheels, bit of a beater, you were just heading off as I arrived, will say hello next time, was wearing a red tshirt - only took a guess it was you from descriptions on here and your avatar! Fingers crossed those wheels are for sale, the zipps look great, always think the massive logos are just pretty tasteless

Cheers, didn't get a close look at the ones that look right for my current project, Campag bolts though, 7 speed, and the rims had a French name I think, Faute de.. sthg or something like that

I had the pleasure to witness the FASTEST cyclist I've ever seen on the roads. Now I know that I am equivalent to TopGear's Captain Slow, on a bike, but f*cking Mary and Joseph! That guy was FAST!
He first passed me on Lewisham Road (just south of Catford Market...we were heading north), but in just a few seconds, he was 100 metres clear of me and still gaining distance. I caught up with him twice, and the first time, shouted out You Are Fast! He obliged me twice more by showing me his ease at reaching max velocity.
In all the years of London riding, I have never ever seen anyone so fast. Sure, I get left behind by any good rider, but I also pass loads, that cannot ever catch me, so I'm not the worst.
If anyone sees this guy, race him, and come on here and say if you win. I owe whoever can do this, at least one pint. Seriously.
He's a smallish white guy, wearing white cycle shorts. Strong legged, though not especially powerful looking. He rode a Simplon bike, that looked a mixture of white and grey. His get away speed is slower than mine (I am strong in the legs), but in seconds, I was chewing dust. Mate, that was impressive! If it wasn't just for show, then I'd say he would give BMMF, hippy, and even Vaidas a run for their money.
