Herne Hill Velodrome Closure Threat - Save the Velodrome!

can we make sure we get a big forum presence down there, to a find out what is going on/changing, maybe pm the bods who regularly show up at the trackdays and sat/sun training to get them out and down to dulwich for the meeting. With the olympics coming, and that lovely article in the guardian it seems like a good time to make sure that the people who use the facility and want to continue using it are heard in this case, we need to make sure that this remains a viable venue for the growing ranks of fixed gear/track bike riders and that despite the arrival of the new velodrome in stratford, that we would continue to use the facilities...

Yep - a strong presence at the meeting would be great, even if it only was people voting with their feet and demonstrating the massive support the velodrome has. If the Dulwich Estate are faced with 500+ cyclists, residents and other concerned people they might just realise that Herne Hill is a genuinely great, popular and necessary facility.
