80.1 kg/17.6% flab this morning, overall loss of approximately 4/5 kg and 1% flubber since the start of this thread.
Upper body is looking less like a cone made of wobble.

Well done! I've lost another 3lbs since the last time I posted here (14lbs overall since April, 4lbs still to go). Just to prove that women's clothes sizes are bull shit though, I bought some new jeans yesterday and I've apparently gone up two sizes.

Bonus points for a study suggesting exercise doesn't make you thin coming from somewhere called the Mayo Clinic.

Im still eating as much as I possibly can and avoiding all unecessary output (including bike rides) and body comp is constantly improving. I used to wear small or even 12-13 sized t shirts and am now up to a large! (chest back & shoulder increases)
Stomach is looking squarer all the time, nearly a monopack thing now.

I'm really pissed off, done loads of cycling recently here and there all over London, made a distinct effort to eat before and after and during cycling and I still lose weight, my body fat is ridiculously low at the moment because i can see the muscle fibres, which is my indicator.
Have i got worms ? Jesus, i just can't eat more than I'm already doing.

I had a week in France working doing no exercise but eating loads. Despite coming back with food poisoning came back much heavier and body fat up by 3% to 12%.
However I am usually shit at taking rest days so have returned feeling comparatively stronger to when I left as judged by how I feel at the gym.
Still feeling fat

This makes sense though if you read the report, people give themselves reward snacks, much like swimming for an hour and then rewarding yourself with a chocolate bar - all of your hard work is undone. This is the hardest bit imo of losing weight, exercising more and not upping your intake of calories.

Eat smaller meals more often. 5 / 6 meals a day should do it.
Split it up like this, but you just have to eat more. Make your own weight gain shake out of blended oats and protein, really easy and effective.

Thanks but I haven't been able to eat a stick of celery since the guys at football sang a song to me about it.

FF is so shit.
The best gyms are generally the ones based at big universities where sport is a big deal. They'll have decent coaches and real weightlifting, gymnastics, martial arts, swimming and track & field setup.

+1 when I was at college I could join the gym for a year for £30, absolute bargain!
Now I'd be looking at at least £30 a month to join the same gym. hmm.

yes but most people live near a fitness first and this thread is about losing a few pounds, not making onto the oxford rowing team.

Also if you starting to lift weights I don't think it's wise to try and lose weight since your going to put that on in muscle mass.
ah ha ted, i omitted a crucial bit, you don't know my real name, my login username, where i work and i can't imagine what possible use anyone would get out of prodding around inside my oh-so-dull work files anyway.
