  • I don't think people are looking at it the wrong way. I think people understand the reasons for Good Friday moving to Manchester, and support the meetings continuation in any form.

    However, people also identify the completely different feel to watching an outdoor track meeting, on a nice day, with space to wander round, large bunches and an informal atmosphere. The same reasons that have kept this meeting going for 100 years.

    Agree 100%. I support the Manchester GF meeting in my head and understand why it's moving there, but my heart (and body!) will support any event on the day at HH. It's too important an occasion not to stage a 'party' event. Maybe along the lines of the Goodwood Revival - 40's fancy dress anyone?!
