  • SimonC, this evening in New Fetter Lane, on his lovely Mather. Confess it. ;-) Good to meet you.

  • To the blonde prick with a black (dolan?) with silver bars and green shorts coming through the lights hackney road/queens bridge road junction. If you paid more attention to the road and less time poorly attempting to skid you might not run into the back of a 55. You tried to act as if nothing happened as you peeled yourself off the tarmac while red as a cherry. If you are on here, I'm the one who stopped you getting run over by that taxi. Please learn to ride x

  • Jimbilly spotted at East drinks last night while pretending not to know anyone. Such a miserable git...

And you too - sorry I was a bit out of it...

  • Guy on a Charge Plug at Bank junction this morning - DAS made me lose my concentration haha! Good job the lights turned green when they did eh? Nice to meet you!

  • So youve met the great northerner... Shout at him as much as you can when you see him track standing!

  • I spotted a guy on a polo bike yesterday evening (about 5.30) riding along Chiswick High Street towards Hammersmith; White front "disc" with polo mallet in backpack - I'm pretty sure I recognised you from the one time I've been to drinks but I can't remember your name now sorry!

  • That was me - DAS is more fun when you're trackstanding. Good to put a face to a name though.

    Likewise, see you around buddy!

Shhhh, i require exam conditions in order to perform the feat of a trackstand, especially with 60year old bent forks that always want to steer left!

  • Purple-ish bridgestone, brown deep v's, black brooks. Anyone?

  • Girl riding a purple fixed up jamaica road to Ldn Bridge. didn't notice much about the bike, expect for the grips on your risers had litle stars on them, as all i could think of was how un-euro those white armwarmers combined with the sleeveless black top was. sorry, i know it's pathetic.

omfg this sounds like one of those Craigslist posts that bikesnob loves so much

  • @ 6pt

    ^ Sounds hideous

  • @villa-ru - May have been me, I was behind you coming over the E and C roundabout, then U peeled off right after it?

Nice to "meet" you if that was you. I live on acre lane too!

  • It makes me want to cry every time I see some brakeless freewheeling twat.
    A serious case of...

I'm riding freewheel with only front brake and do not wish to be called names because of that. Mind your own fixed bike.
There's a lof of companies selling bikes with just a front brakes so don't be surprised that you see so many people on them. I bought a second hand bike like that and keep upgrading it. Will get soon to exchanging the brakes too and probably will go for a rear one as well. For now i chosing to stay with the front one only.

  • @Pistanator - actually not too bad.

Sticks and stones and a single speed with only a front break my breaks bones... But names will never hurt you...

You are a danger to other people and yourself. If you run into the back of me because a worn brake cable has snapped on a second hand bike that you chose to remove the rear brake from I will call you alot worse than twat.
And British Cycling lawyers will take all your money from you just to add insult to injury.

  • What's hillarious? I had to buy the whole new drive train and few other bits. Brakes needs to wait a bit. My choice. Haven't crashed yet but seen a couple of fixed riders hugging the tarmac already.

  • brakes needs to wait a bit.

    ffs

  • it is of course your choice.. But it is a poor choice ada..

  • Hello!

Cob webs don't usually survive the sprint down the last section of OKR- after that it was warm down spin to Monmouth.

Nice bike you were on- I first saw you flash past on it on Rye Lane.

It's also a choice that has consequences for others.

Yeah, i'm sure the world would be safer if i was on a fixed. Don't panic, i'll be getting a new brakes in a month time. Just didn't like the offensive comments.

  • I had a guy ride into me yesterday who claimed faulty brake. We both fell into incoming traffic cause my bike became tangled in his and i was clipped in. Fortunately it was slow moving in the other direction and the cabbie saw us.
I would not have been well pleased if i was hit by the car cause of the moron. Would you like to have that hanging over your head? Would you like to be responsible for the death of another cyclist cause you only wanted one brake?
