So, my bank statement shows me Vodafone took out TWO payments, one with DD and other with card, when I had called months before to cancel DD. But apparently I have to call my bank now to sort the matter out.

However I have cancelled my insurance. And MIGHT root the Xperia. But we will see. :p

Bank has to refund DD immediately, don't let them try to say you have to talk to Vodafone.

I've had to take a copy of that in to Lloyds before, as they claimed it wasn't true. They suddenly produced the refund on the spot.
