hippy, is the Desire HD still running the standard Snapdragon chip? I'd be wanting something more powerful in graphics processing for my next upgrade. Give me good news. ;)
They didn't say. Someone mentioned an Andeon chip but i've no idea.
So, even if the physical chassis is akin to the HTC EVO 4G, the innards are better in every way. It now looks a really good phone.
It even looks like the Desire HD has eclipsed the Motorola Droid X, even before its had a chance in Europe. Not a bad thing really.
I await confirmation or rebuttal of these snippets. Its internet info, so could easily be wrong.

Okay, I did a bit of checking, and it seems that the CPU and GPU are improved.
The Snapdragon name remains the same, but its actually a newer process 45nm chip, instead of the previous 65nm one.
The Adreno 205 GPU replaces the previous Adreno 200, and gets closer to the Samsung Hummingbird CPU+GPU performance.
