great weather in the end, fears of a downpour affecting the majority were unfounded. it must have been incredibly galling to have ridden through that and then have no more rain.

wagon wheels,i saw the packet early on and thought "why have i eaten so much today?". I agree with matt (middleofnowhere), they've not shrunk but our memory plays them as big as your head. i have a vague recollection of french and saunders doing some sketch about a wagon wheel (dawn french in making reference to chocolate shock!) but can't find it.
