gutted for scarlett. a proper pain in the butt. however safety equals success. We opted to ride the hills and then a decent and thoroughly beautiful flat section. then we turned back much to ludwig's disappointment. My call not to do the full route without 100% certainty that we would make the train home or lose anyone at any point of the ride. That said it's my fault i don't know that ride well enough to lead it. Still we improvise. hope everyone enjoyed what they made of it as much as we did in the pub and on the train home. Des thinks the original wagon wheel was bigger today's version. I'm not so sure but it seems the TNRC has thrown up another debating point.
