Max i had some of those Tifosi forks and they were pretty bulletproof - however i don't think that they are going to make any noticeable difference to the weight of the bike, as they have an alloy steerer - to make any real weight saving on the dale, i would have though only a carbon steerer is going to do the trick due to the size of the bike, but i wouldn't want to use a carbon steerer for couriering me self

I'd prefer to have a carbon steerer as it would absorb a crash better than an alu steerer, and thus reduced the chance of the frame getting damaged.

it's all theory of course.
