^Yes! I hate to keep going on about it and being a bore but the number of experienced riders I have taught who ride in the door-zone is surprising. Even Tfl leaflets advise riding wide these days. Reculver: why not take a Cycle Training lesson? You have nothing to lose and I can help you arrange it.
