Perhaps this isn't the most appropriate thread, but if anybody's in need of wheels building, look no further than our very own 36x18. I dropped off parts last night, and this evening collected my wheels. He's done a stunning job, and he's a thoroughly good chap to boot.
If I knew how to add rep, I would.

James at Route Canale cycles today gave me good, friendly advice today. Nice chap too. Cool little spot. The treacle tart from the little cafe next door is bloody amazing too. I forsee a regular tea and toast stop there on the way to work for sure.
Equally good and friendly advice from the mechanic at LMNH over lunch. Didnt catch her name though.
Thanks dudes!

Just riding along
They seem to be a wealth of information on 29ers and tubeless stuff
I picked their brains the other week at length on the phone, it was clear that they could not match prices on everything I wanted but they were still great value for a lot of things. It was good that I felt I could be frank with them and ask if they could do a discount for a large order, they explained very nicely that they could not but still gave the advice I needed.
So I did not buy everything I needed from them but still spent £170 and got fantastic service from them. They really know their stuff and are clearly willing to share the knowledge.

Cycle Surgery off Victoria Street... is becoming my favourite cycle shop by a mile in central london. The staff once again just going that extra mile to make sure I walked out with what I needed. Every time I've been in the staff all seem to be 'getting on' with both themselves and the customers, which just makes for a nice vibe. You just can't beat friendly people.
That and from an overheard conversation... there's a serious polo player on the staff... who may even be on here..... ;-)

Get a puncture repair kit and deal with that in the privacy of your own home. What were you doing to puncture her?

realdolls?
Actually, yes.
He brought it in his back pack and wouldn't take it out, just showed the bit with the puncture. We didn't figure it out until and arm fell out the other side.

Don't wish to be obtuse, but never seen a fixie-wheelchair.
Skid stops must require significant speeds, aerospooks on the back compulsory etc?
I'm sure an expert in photochop can sort a pic out.

Not so much as good service but a certain red headed American lady who works in Velorution baked over 100 Christmas cookies for my place of work, one for each employee.
Thank you Mary, loving your work.
Xx
I had 2 by the way they were yummy!

Where do you work? I will be lodging a complaint with Mary for my lack of cookie...
Putney Cycles again for being diplomatic when questioning my spoke-length calculations.
