  • my house is leaking like crazy, we've run out of buckets/ pans.
    mostly the cellar.

  • hope it eases off...or just get some small children place under drip and tell them its a game, catch the drips in your mouth...see who can drink the most..ill get me coat..

  • The only way I could have been more waterproof this morning would have been if I had laminated myself. 2 minutes down the road, in fact I was not even at the end of the road, the rain stopped. It transpires that my Decathlon waterproof trousers and jacket paired with my Endura neoprene booties also rendered me airtight. Meaning that when I got to work I was soaked through with sweat.

    Bah.

  • for the third morning this week, those extra few mins in bed have saved my from getting wet riding to work. booyah. plus full mudguards FTW!!!

  • Same, sort of. Left about 9 and 9.02 it had stopped. By the time I got to Soho roads were dry.

  • Same here, I put on winter bibs this morning to cover the sealskinz, plus endura waterproof jacket.
Sweat soaked arrival at Finsbury park this morning, albeit cosy warm below the waist line.

  • End of days rain in SE18

  • Mild in EC2

  • just had a huge clap of thunder too. Very loud, and very crackly. Amazing, was not near the window to see where the lightning struck.

  • Wet on the way into work this morning, not too many other cyclists about. Still wearing the shorts and t shirt way to warm to wear winter bibs yet, although I'm quite looking forward to wearing my gore tex jacket this winter, bought it early this year wore it once and it warmed up.

  • I was planning a solo polo session in the park this afternoon... Grrrr... I'll have to do something useful now... :/

    raises fists to the heavens

  • HTFU. Just saying

  • I'll do my tax instead... Sun's just come out... Win! :]

  • well - at least i don't have to water my veg now...

  • Fookin' hell, that was quite a downpour out here in W12.

  • It appear that the heaven has opened.

I too, selected the wrong bike for this week commute, and the wrong fucking clothing.

The worse thing? I knew that there's a possibilities of rain, just not expecting rain that heavy.

  • Heavy rain in SE24, glad I'm home indoors having tea and cake.
