• Following its theft in May this year, I have now recovered my bike thanks solely to the help of the wonderful people on this forum! Thankfully, I can now continue to play and am pleased to say am nearly finished this incarnation. So guys, what do you think?

Originally I was tempted to go with the rat look and rust my frame as others have successfully done in the past. However, I'm growing increasingly fond of the gunmetal finish now I've stripped the paint from the frame, and am wondering whether to keep it that way?

To complement the wooden bars, I have nearly finished a rear mud guard to match (just in time for winter) and will be making some 'decals' from copper or perhaps stainless (a'la fixie inc) to finish.

Although not completely necessary, I would quite like to find a fork with slightly less rake just to pull in that front wheel a touch. With respect to this, do any of you guys know if I could cold bend the legs of the fork I already have without much risk of damage? I'm sure I would be ok as these forks are nothing delicate, but I would be interested to hear from anyone who has tried this in the past.

    Any thoughts?
