pish and posh! missus and i have just sat through first two seasons of madmen - waking up at three in the morning just to have a fag and a tumbler full of scotch is making these long winter nights just fly by.

That sort of thing would be fine, minus the smoking as neither of us do. However, coming back to bed with a pint of coffee and a full English at 6am doesn't sit well when she's trying to get an extra hour's sleep.
