Yeah, I know. I guess I meant that he doesn't like to wear it all the time as it's sentimental and monetary value mean that it's not suitable for wearing while working in the Nursery (garden centre) getting all scratched up.
I remember as a kid when our family had zero cash dad nearly sold it to cover the months rent... luckily that didn't happen.
