Yeah but fixed wheels seem to be losing popularity for polo. Sticking one on the stand may be viewed as some sort of example/recommendation for an ideal use of a fixed drivetrain. When it probably isn't. "Fixie trickers" are all "cool & trendy" which may draw more interested eyes to the stand.
I like David's vision though, in terms of having only beat up street bikes. Because that probably best represents what the forum/fgss is all about. The main issue was the overlap between a fixed commuter bike and a fixed courier bike, I really have no clue what the difference could be there.
