I got rid of my viruses by means of a deal- I offered them the opportunity to infect 100 people in the plane to Germany, the 10 000 odd people I brushed up against at Eurobike and the 100 odd people in the plane back. I'm feeling much better now......
Prayer also works.

Best way to defend yourself from a cold is to have poor kitchen hygiene ... worked a treat at uni. Eat food that is out of date, but looks alright/not too suspicious, drink lots of beer.
Never got a cold while at uni.

I find that taking Echinacea from the moment I detect that I'm feeling a bit under the weather staves off all manner of illness.

Electric shock therapy works well. You can DIY with a car battery or a toaster in the bath.

A healthy diet full of vitamins! Especially vitamin D3!
I Find if I do feel a little bit bunged up I exercise and it helps get rid of it (but if you feel really bad DO NOT do any exercise)
and... The 10 second rule :) good for the immune system!
Oh and lots of sleep!!

Half the people I trained this weekend had colds and today I feel like crap; glands swollen, tired and achy, sniffling. Urgent need for the toilet.
