  • Sorry I had to leave a bit early. Nice to meet you all. The initiation ritual wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

There is an initiation ritual? No one told me about this. What does it involve...?

  • I ended up there tonight forgetting it was beers, and thus didn't bring my bike. Thusly, felt like a right plonker sitting with my mate one table away staring at everyone's bikes, both saying "Shoulda ridden here"...

  • "Shoulda ridden here"...

^^Anytime I'm somewhere and not on my bike^^

  • that london pale ale is good.

shame the black sheep ran out.

  • Beer good.
    Company great.
    Chainwhip provision excellent.
Dislocating my knee as I walked out of the door, middling to ouch.

  • middling to ouch? what does that even mean?

  • I haz to go sell a bike but I'm in now theres no danger of crumble. Good thing easts dont go home early.

(I'm still working on the "east souths" plan, btw)

Need any help with the plan, or be shown how to continue by a real alcholic?

Doing a skid, eating a biscuit and doing a coast.thats just the first round.

In my case, having half a pint spilled on your groin...

  • So what did we all think?

    That pub definitely has potential.
The place is fucking huge and so is the garden.

If they had darker ale on and some lighter bar snacks it would have been perfect, but it was damn nice.
I've got a couple of places to check out but I might return next week.

somebody, you know the owners, right? What's the likelihood of negotiating a burger deal?

  • Oh bugger. Well it was a long shot

Come on, don't sell yourself short, it's not a big deal or a tall order besides your massive chopper (pfnar) gives you towering status...

Hope you all had a good night.

  • I was unable to use my chopper last night due to problems with my nuts.

  • middling to ouch? what does that even mean?

    Pain, mostly.

  • I thought it was a good pub.

TooTallTim You don't need to actually have your bike to join in. Lynx hardly ever bothers, and we literally can't get rim of him.

    [/reporting myself for internet bullying]

  • Yeah I know, next time I'll pop down with bike though. Saves the old sans bike 'Hi I'm from the internet' wave at strangers.

  • Lynx hardly ever bothers, and we literally can't get rim of him.

    eyebrow raise
I had no idea you'd tried.

i liked it as well. great that the bikes can remain so close to us / are safe.

the only reasons i did not push for this pub in the past was because it is little difficult to get to being on the one way system and

i did not want to be charged with running easts to suit my mates. but if you guys like it that is cool with me and we could go there more often.

what was the music like ?

i am seeing the owners, paula and andrew, for a social on sunday night. i will mention ale and burgers and revert.

  • music was alright. Not that we could hear it much outside.

  • I missed yesterday waiting for a buyer who rescheduled for tonight. I'd be keen to check this pub out another time if Easts makes it there.

  • I liked it. friendly bar staff.

  • Yeah, I like the place. Great while we can still sit outside.

  • I was unable to use my chopper last night due to problems with my nuts.

Yes, you need them nipped up good and tight.

You would be fine on foot, some locals do it.

  • Will be there next time/when I'm back from holiday, promise!

  • I'll be there ^_^

Just moved here from the states for a bit, I don't have my bike but I wanted to come out with some friends and meetchuguyz.
