so, finalising bristol. looks like it will be one team one car. there should be one spare space in the car. unsure whether to just give it first come first served or someone who can sub? can discuss on sunday.

any team name ideas? i like "proper waxah", but as john suggested, maybe "cog on the tyne" would be better

although i wont be there "proper waxah" gets my vote; "gosforth chainring massacre" is also RAD. "HOW MAN UNITED" is also worth a mention.

**Bristol polo tourney - 12 Sept ***- this weekend

OK, it's like this, it seems that there are 2 spaces in the car going to Bristol for this weekend's tourney. One space for a spectator, mascot, team bitch, call it what you like - it's a weekend away and should be an excellent craic. Second space is for a third player for the team. Yes you read it right, despite all the early interest we are still one player short of a full team. For both spaces a contribution for petrol money would be welcome. Polo Wednesday is the last call for this. Unless we have rock-solid confirmation by then, Newcastle will not be represented at Bristol.

If i wasnt working I'd be there like swimwear apart from the fact I havn't played in an age and would be shite. I know that doesn't help but I do miss polo craic.
