Headsets do come in anoyinly different sizes .2 mm here or there 1" are the worst .
1 1/8" I think only come in 2 sizes .your new frame will have needed preparing (faceing)
and the supplier of frame would be forgiven for not doing this, however some bike shops don't have this knowledge /tooling and most are total numpties make sure you take your bike to a shop with a pro mech. With a load of exp.steels would be my recomendation for this type of work. Sorry it's a bit late!
