Maybe I've not been around long enough, but has anyone ever started up a new fixed bike company to rapturous acclaim from the forum?
We have Unicack/create/Foffa/Caramel who all get slated. I've got no idea whether any of them are any good or not, I've never ridden any of them and from the look of their websites I'm not even slightly tempted.
Anyway, was just wondering if any new companies had sprung up to be met with reviews like:
"wow, that is a really well conceived frame, well put together with decent components. Yes it's cheap, yes its heavy, yes its OTP, no I wouldn't personally want one, but given the price thats a pretty good deal. Well done!"
I guess it would help if the ad campaign had people looking where they were riding.
