So it's a bike with just a front brake.
Plus a chain is less likely to snap than a brake cable Also in the wet a cheap brake loses stopping power anlotmmore than a fixed drivetrain But actually debating with someone who lacks the mental faculties to engage in rational argument is possibly pointless.

Sorry did you miss it the last three times I said she doesn't ride it in the wet.
And for the second time I keep my bikes and her bikes well maintained and I haven't had a cable snap in as long as I remember.
