moths again. was a massive one just chillin' on the stairs waiting to get stepped on so i picked it up and took it outside and put it on a fence and it flew right into a spiders web. so rescued it again and it wouldn't hold on to a tree and kept getting stuck in the grass. idiot thing.

was weird to see one up close without it going mental, about 1" long by 2" wingspam with a massive furry body.

this. not terrified of them but i find them annoying. i was at a party in a friends and one flew in my ear so all i could hear was the fluttering of its wings, so i freaked out and started hitting my own ear then it flew away out the door and i was left looking like an idiot freaking out over a moth.

Ah c'mon, estate agents aren't that bad. I had very good service off a company called Foxtons. They have really snazzy offices and drive these wonderful little Mini's.

When buying my place, the estate agent advised the seller not to proceed with the sale as she couldn't guarantee our mortgage, which was fully agreed, would pay for the property. This was all due to not using their 'independent' in-house financial advisor. Thankfully the seller contacted me before backing out and I duly contacted the financial ombudsman to report this illegal activity. I believe the agent is now selling her body to desperate sailors with VD for less than 3l of cheap cider.*

*possibly not true, but she got fucked over big time following an investigation.

Sadly I have a year to go with them, we were very careful to get everything in writing from them (it took some doing)
General procedure of getting anythign out of them is to email them at least 3 times, then call them - at which point you might get half of an answer.

This is the first time I've rented in 10 years..things have changed - I mean they were twats back then..but now they seem to have reached a whole new and expensive level..

Had the dubious pleasure of being driven around in a Foxton's Mini the other week. Off-duty estate agent, drove like a maniac. Minis are not really comfortable enough to do things like mounting the curb at speed, that's for sure.

I wish I could sell my flat via the forum, the dibs/PM system seems a lot more professional than most of the estate agents I've dealt with..

Surveyors, paid the cunt £1k to make 18 page report, when I buy the house all the TV aerials have been put in (as requested) on the wrong side of the fire places so had to spend another £200 getting an Electrician to put more sockets in. "Mould? That'll go I've checked the damp coursing". Funny that, because there isn't any. Cunt.

the biggest estate agent joke was when i first moved to london I was shown around a couple of places by a guy in a company branded Alpha Romeo GT... can't remember who (might have been Chase Evans) but what a CUNT thing to do. screaming 'hey we rip off so many people we all drive sports cars that devalue faster than used plutonium.
