  • Hello, All Of London Bike Polo.

I am currently in Paris, spending some quality time with Pierre and Hugo. I will be returning to London on Thursday and am in need of a place to crash Thursday night as well as Friday night. If anyone could help me with one of these nights or both nights please let know. A small space on your floor is plenty.

my email address is matt.lane.r at gmail.com

Thank you so much. And thank you all for such an amazing tournamount.

  • has anyone offered a place to Matt yet? Someone needs to step up...

  • come on folks! he's got an awesome mustdash!
seriously lovely guy, i can't take anyone in my rabbit hutch right now.

  • Thanks to everyone who was involved in making this happen, well organised chaos at its best. Food was a really good thing as well.

Sorry for any controversy Error 404 caused lol.

    See you all again soon.

    Nick

  • I'd house Matt, but it'd push my housemates over the edge, I'm officially on a "no more visitors" warning... come on London.

  • Same here, not particuarly popular at temple st

  • Floor available, no toilet or shower. Roof cover tho.

  • Matt can stay with me and Mat if there's nowhere else.

  • ooh matt sandwich. €sorry

  • Therese likes sandwiches...she had a Los Conos one yesterday on the steps of downham.

  • ^i've had a few of those, i like em!
does anyone have a final placing breakdown?

  • Who has pics of the trophies? they have to go on leagueofbikepolo

    photo taken by Roxy…

  • Nice trophies!

  • Awesome! was the green one 1st and clear one 2nd place?

  • green winners, clear mvp.

  • the yellow one is made from light refrecting perspex... so it collectls light from the surface area and refracts it out of the edges, making them glow without the use of an internal lighting system.....
you cant really see it in the photo.... but i thought it looked pretty cool.

  • Cheers to everyone involved in putting on such a great tournament.
    Great trophies too!

  • Thanks to everyone that organised the event for putting on a thoroughly enjoyable tournament; great food and sweet freebies. Thanks also to all that attended for being sound. Always good meeting other polo players.

Finally, thanks to Adam for giving up his bedroom to accommodate the Edinburgh teams, bringing us coffee in the morning and putting up with the Funky Munky pub with us after being ousted from Hermits Cave (for who knows what).
    You're Ace fella!

    See ya all next time.

  • Yeah it was good and all that but where're the bloody rankings?

(Nice one Jono, Wayne, Andy etc)

  • I tried to work out the rankings and got confused, Gabes would be able to do it, but I'm pretty sure he's very busy at the mo.

If anyone else is up for the challenge, the boards are here (you may need to source the loser's bracket from another pic, if possible, as the scores are hard to make out on the right):
