guess you'll need a freewheel removal tool to get the 5 speed off. you will be able to thread on a track hub on the freewheel thread but no lockring, known as a suicide setup. i did the same thing back in the day before i knew what a track hub was. if you rotafix it on, it should be strong enough to brake with but you need to be careful.
