My spesh Tricross does very well in winter.
Comfortable geometry along with a flattened top tub should you find yourself needing to shoulder it. Drilled for both racks and mudguards and has bottle brazeons. Good clearance for cross tires making it quite viable for the snow.
Only downside I can come up with is that the brakes are a bit shit. Not a problem if you're riding fixed.
