Can anyone in or close to Hackney take Lefty Joe from Chicago for tonight? I have had between 4-6 players at my house since Weds and today is Ellen and my's anniversary.

Bristol had an awesome time, thanks for such a good tournament.
I was worth coming up for just to listen to London heckle the finalists.. "send him home in a body bag!" "pop a cap in his ass". Love it, absolutely love it.

Roxy (Bicycle Images) will probably have loads of images to sort through, but they'll be making an appearance soon.
You will be able to buy high-res shots from www.bicycleimages.com and we'll put low-res versions up on Flickr, etc.
Watch this space.

Huge respect to London for this. Such a fun tourney, and great to have so many amazing teams to play. highlight for me was heckling woody and his big boy's BMX. "You're a big boy now"

The only thing that a bit of a shame was that Andy Lebowski wasn't around to enjoy the fun, seeing as it was pretty much his idea to go ahead and do the thing in the first place. I was told that it was work commitments that kept him away from the event (I know what that feels like!) but I know that he provided much of the early momentum of the London Open.

thanks for an awesome weekend London Polo. it was great to see so many European and N American teams playing such high quality polo and the whole thing was amazingly well organised so thanks to all who put in hard work for it. I had tons of fun, just a shame i had to leave early.

Just spoke to Andy, he's alive and well... just very busy!
For anyone interested, Andy and I will be having a wash-up meeting of the London Open at the next LHBPA meet (depending how long it takes me to sort receipts), you can have a butchers at the books, make complaints or suggestions for next year, etc. I'm hoping we'll have about £300 leftover, £200 of which will cover the "top-up" of our insurance for future events (if needed), £100 of which will go back to the LHBPA as a "Brucey Bonus".
(We still have a few tees to sell too, so will have more funds coming in over time, ace.)
hahah! Beyond The Thunderstorm!
