Update:
I think I'm going to have to take this to a lbs as I'm struggling to get the driveside crank off. The space between the BB and crank is quite small so the wedge isn't fitting in far enough. I suspect having the bike in a proper stand will help.
Also, no one seems to have a freewheel remover tool to get the old cog off the wheel and a hammer and chisel wasn't working.
Hopefully it won't cost too much.
Shame, it would have been handy for this weekend.
