Visited Copenhagen recently - bike riding there is at the heart of town planning/culture.
The part I liked the most was that most bikes appeared to be left unlocked and more
importantly not stolen. Its not possible to imagine this in London.
I was there at the weekend, brilliant city and great for cycling as long as youre willing to take your time.
Unfortunately, theift is actually a major problem especially at the moment as there are gangs going around and picking up 5 or 6 bikes at a time and throwing them in the back of vans and walking off. This is possible because bikes are rarely locked to anything and just use immobiliser locks on the back wheel.
