Police spotting (junction watch)

Cycling in a bus lane is not allowed...

Well the lane that between theobald rd and bloomsbury way. I had NO idea that the little sign below the 20mph sign meant no cycing. This one:

Now thats total ignorance on my behalf, but I do think that is a totally counter intuitive sign communication.

Here's how I expect a NO sign to look:

So anyway, there was a cop pulling everyone over and giving us warnings. At least he explained the law. And to be fair I see loads of people trying to squish up the inside of the buses rather than wait behind so It's probably a good thing.
