I responded to an advert he posted looking for a cheap bike. He said he wanted to view the bike, but as I'm based near Leicester at the minute I said I could bring the bike down when I was in London that weekend. He said could do all day Saturday, so I said come to Hammersmith any time and he could have a look. Sent him a text Friday night when I'd got down to London, bike in tow to confirm. No response. Tried calling Saturday, said he 'was busy but will call back in five minutes'. Didn't call back. Tried ringing him again. No response. No show.
This was after I'd hauled the bike down from the middle of nowhere Leicestershire, inconveniencing family members along the way for a £100 bike I thought might help someone out while they were bikeless.
Very poor show.
