michael pollan talks a bit of bollocks, but ultimately his rules of eating (don't eat anything your grannie wouldn't recognize as food, stay away from the middle of the supermarket, eat more fruit and vegetables, don't eat too much) are a good guideline.
porridge: breakfast of champions. also good cold from the fridge, i like it after cycling (if there's any in the fridge) also a cornerstone of many a good foodie argument.
my recipe: bit of water, bit of milk, chopped apples fruit etc go in the porridge when cooking, top with berries AND honey OR maple syrup. nuts are also a good addition.
