How much tweed does one need to wear for this ? Would just a cap suffice ? Parts of Winnatts are 35%, so an alternative might be over Mam Nick via Edale. Also the A6 is best avoided so after Chapel-en-le-Frith, a nicer route is A624 to Hayfield, then New Mills, Marple to Stockport.
