Do they make Brian? Or Dave? How about Barry?
not Bryan as he is a very naughty boy.

I thought that it looked like Germany. Wow, there's not a single bike there that I'd ever, ever want. shudder

did the German notes on the boxes or the Pils trailers give it away?
I was sure my German ordering skills got better in the evenings.

It's all that phat suspension, Ashe. You know, I only like my bikes really, really skinny. ;P

What part of "London fixed gear and single speed" did you not get, Nicklouse?

I didn't look at any of the pictures closely enough to work either of that out. I did see the Krombacher beer stand, but I only suspended judgement when I saw your post explaining that the name had been sold to Germany.

I don't usually comment on stuff like this, but WTF!
So many pictures, so little comment, so little insight, so little humour!
Why?
I know you enjoyed your adventure Nick, but why the need to put it out there for the rest of us. This for me is the bike equivalent of 73 pictures of you and your mates on a drunken night out, posing for the camera, when five or ten photo's would have been sufficient.I'm no fixed and single speed nazi (godwins law not intended to be invoked) but come on, how many photo's were there of slightly differing mountain bikes and road bikes, from the same manufacturer. I got reported for spam for starting a thread about liking the soma buena vista and it was a cool frame that would make a nice bike for some of the ladies on the forum and this goes out without comment.
BAH!!!
ps I am slightly hopped up on my second large coffee in new york and I don't really drink coffee.

but as I am not in London they do have a point.
but i do have a SS and a fixed.
Also i am grateful that there are people that would not be seen dead on some of these bikes, would it not be boring if we all liked the same shit?
no I dont have a Focus or a Kallkoff but did have a Raleigh back in the '70s as i think most kids getting into bikes at that time did.
and my next new bike should be my first frame build.

you're building the frame yourself?

What about the cow, was it salty?
Was it a german cow? -

yes, why not. i fit role cages in racing cars for fun. not to mention building the whole car, except the paint. Not good with paint.
Have access to some nice tubes. can weld (braze and silver solder as well). know abit about geometry.
first i need to see what fixtures and fittings there are out there. then i will see which way i will go with the frame. But it will not be mainstream. it will fit what i need at the time as that is the best way to see what works.

I found it quite interesting, and i doubt hes taking up anything like the amount of Bandwidth that your endless list threads do GA2G!
Would love to take a trip like that.
Have a look at the linkbacks on the OTP and the Locks That Work threads.
I put a lot of effort, and loads of hours into those, and Velocio appreciates it.
Its the forum that benefits, in many ways. Some people find them useful. Oh, only a few thousands or so.
