@gogosama, there is something to be said about using completely manual kit to either start learning (eg Pentax MX used to be popular), or to clear the cobwebs and get back to basics. I love the involvement, and that it forces you to take you time. I'd get a cheap manual body, bung in some XP2 and go for it...
