Less. A 586 with record and Lightweights and nothing special in the finishing kit comes to about £7.5k

Very nice frame though. And can't fault the gruppo. It's just the Lightweights and the horrid tanwalls that have absolutely no place on this bike.

Other then the miss placed tan-walls, I'm all that look. A beautiful frameset built up with campag, and lightweights. Whats not to like*.

(*always felt if you first go for this classic Look colour way. You may as well go all-in and finish with the yellow, red, and blue in the tyres, tape, and saddle. But then I never claimed to have great taste.)

I really like it, if it was mine (not that it ever will be, 7.5k, you havin a laugh?) I'd take stickers off wheels and fit some nice black tyres. Reckon the paint job on it looks sweet.

Anyone with photochop be arsed to make the adjustments?

Yellowish gum colour I reckon. Totally inappropriate. imo Lightweights can be very nice (imagine these wheels, with these tyres, on a titanium bike!) but I think a pair of de-stickered Reynolds would look a lot better on this Look.

If it were mine, I'd have RAR wheels. The Lightweight logos don't go with anything, but the RAR ones should go well with Look. It would also have the bars lower and the saddle higher, which would help the aesthetics.

I think the Lightweight logo is absolutely awesome... it stands right out in a (cycling) world of too-slick-by-half garish, gratuitous visual wankery.

I would think oz. is getting at the fact that the bike cost a fair bit of money yet in his eyes looks awful.

Much the same as in any field I guess (could kit yourself out in Prada and look awful quite easily, could buy an expensive car but have bad choice of body colour, interior etc,)
