When he called at 7am I already knew before he spoke. He was in tears and after feeling a torrent of unrestrained rage and anguish boiling up inside me I thought it best to put the phone down. We are now communicating via email and text only.
I think that if I borrowed someones bike or car, I would look after it even better than if it were mine. It wouldn't leave my sight. Ever. But I guess that's just me.
