^^I've got a drill bit for that sort of thing. Run a drill/ electric screwdriver in reverse and the bit cuts into the metal of screw, pulling it out shortly after. It worked a treat on some rounded-out pc screws.

The drill bit what I got is dead easy to use. The office electric screwdriver is built like a child's toy, and these special screw-removing bits worked really well.
Sainsbury's are currently doing three Dorset Cereal bars for a quid. Dead posh, but quite good.
