  • Spotting in morden a very forlorn looking version of the wheel... A dlock and saddle...

  • ^guard calf, bloody ferocious those things.

  • Not locked up properly though is it? And worth a fair bit more than an njs bike?!

  • Wandsworth Road, Saturday evening...I suppose technically you would have a hard time?

  • ah, but will the D lift over the knobbled end?

  • cheers velo libre.

The pic was crap, but there's a lot of wiggle room on the far side of the lock that you can't see.

  • ^^^ WTF a red reflector pointing forwards??

  • Wheels not secure.. and the frame can be lifted of the pole using a helicopter.

  • Seen this morning outside work (Broadwick st in Soho)
Some sort of fail locking must have gone on beforehand.....

  • Seven Sisters station.
    First I notice this

Which makes me think - hmmm, dodgy place to lock my bike.
And then this chap rolls along and does this:

Guess he just want's to get rid of it.

  • How not to lock it by.... not locking it at all

  • I would have seriously difficultly not just taking that.

Not that 'they're asking for it' or 'they deserve it', but just come on! I'd like a bike with a hella front travel for throwing down stairs.

  • Dunno where to post this.....

"Why not buy 2 and save postage?
Opportunist thieves NEVER pick on bikes with 2 locks to remove!

At least it's rustproof, so the thief can't pour water over it and wait for it to rust through.

  • I locked my bike to a short bollard using a cable lock once. It was very easy to lift over the bollard but I was sitting RIGHT BESIDE it the whole time it was there. A drug addict saw it and went crazy!! he started shouting obscenities about the fking wker that locked their bike like that. He blamed the country's financial decline on people who would leave their bike in such an un-secure manner. He made quite a scene, many people stopped to listen to his rant. Not knowing it was mine he looked for my support in his hatred of me, (I was forced to agree with him). Needless to say I waited till he and everybody watching had gone until i sheepishly retrieved my bike. I never did it again.

  • That was tynan.

Hawking his overpriced and frankly ineffectual so-called 'security' paste. Again.

hmn, left my bike unlocked once outside a supermarket and sat down about 5 meters from it. was it 2 minutes until 3 (GANGSTA) boys (with winterwests and fake chains) came around the corner talking loudly and then suddenly changing topic nodding each other and pointing at the bike as they went past... one of them coudlnt help himself to get out of the supermarket one last time to have a second look..

Funny they didnt notice me sittin there watching it all... waitrose in towerhill btw.

  • Hold up. GANGSTAAAAS in Waitrose? What type of gangstas do you have in london?!
