^ fury muff... Friday inability to read properly. I thought you were saying you could still get the SR frame in 1", rather than just the forks... altho the 1" is still threadless... so there's not really any point.
Either way, I wouldn't bother. (1) bc he may as well just keep the ahead setup, (2) he'll have to pay to get them threaded, (3) the SR forks don't look all that anyway.
